At Dilly, we want you to be completely satisfied with our Services. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for our subscription plans.
Free Trial
We offer a free trial period so you can explore Dilly before committing to a paid subscription. During the trial:
No payment is required
Full access to your selected plan's features
No charges until the trial ends
Cancel anytime during trial without being charged
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
All new paid subscriptions (monthly and annual) are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee.
If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of your paid subscription:
- Request a full refund — no questions asked
- Email us at legal@dillyhq.com with your account email
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method
Note: The 14-day period begins on the date your first payment is processed, not the start of any free trial.
Monthly Subscriptions
Cancellation
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings.
Refunds after 14 days
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day money-back guarantee period. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You retain full access to all features until the billing period ends
- Your account transitions to read-only mode after the billing period
- No partial-month refunds are provided
Annual Subscriptions
Cancellation
You can cancel your annual subscription at any time through your account settings.
Refunds after 14 days
If you cancel an annual subscription after the 14-day money-back guarantee period, you may request a prorated refund for unused full months remaining in your subscription term.
How it works
- We calculate the number of full months remaining after your cancellation date
- We refund the prorated amount for those unused months
- Partial months are not refunded
Example
If you paid $240 for an annual plan ($20/month) and cancel after 4 months, you may receive a refund of $120 for the 6 remaining full months.
To request a prorated refund
- Submit your request within 30 days of cancellation
- Email us at legal@dillyhq.com with your account email and reason for cancellation
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days
Refund Exceptions
Refunds (including the 14-day money-back guarantee) will not be provided in the following situations:
- Violation of our Terms of Service resulting in account termination
- Fraudulent or abusive use of the refund policy
- Failure to cancel before the renewal date (for renewals after the initial subscription period)
- Issues caused by third-party services or your payment processor
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Log in to your Dilly account
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm your cancellation
You will receive an email confirming your cancellation and the date your access will transition to read-only mode.
After Cancellation
When your subscription ends:
Read-only access
You can still log in, view your data, and export your information
No new features
You cannot create new invoices, transactions, or records
Data retention
Your data remains available until you choose to delete your account
If you delete your account, your data will be soft-deleted and retained for 7 days before permanent deletion.
Reactivating Your Account
Changed your mind? You can reactivate your subscription at any time:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Select a plan and complete payment
Your data and settings will be restored immediately upon reactivation.
Payment Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error:
- Contact us at legal@dillyhq.com within 30 days of the charge
- Include your account email, transaction date, and amount
- We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We're committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.
